Once you have signed up to one of our Care Plans you will then need to fill out your website details as best as you can via the ‘My Websites‘ page in your dashboard if not already complete. Our experts will need this information for setting up your new Care Plan!

If you’re unsure of any of the information we ask for, please don’t hestitate to contact our support team here. We will be very happy to help!

Track Set Up Progress

A ticket will be added to your dashboard on the ‘My Tickets‘ page for the set up of your new care plan where you can track the progress.

To get your on-going care plan underway, our experts will need to implement our premium backup, security and monitoring plugin on your website. This process can take up to 3 business days to complete (this time may vary depending on level of demand, however it’s usually a lot quicker!).

You will be notified via email of any updates made to the ticket and when the set up process is complete.

Submit Support Ticket

Included in your business or premium care plan are priority support tickets that you can submit to our experts.

To submit a support ticket to our team, simply select the ‘Submit Ticket’ button within the navigation at the top of each page.

You will then be redirected to a form where you can submit your request along with any supporting documents, simply select ‘Website Support Ticket’ from the ticket type dropdown. We do ask you to submit ONE edit per submission so our team can assign your requests accordingly.

A support ticket is anything that can be applied within your Admin Dashboard or a technical fix and takes up to 30 minutes to implement. If you’re unsure if your request applies to the above, don’t hestitate to ask us here or visit our FAQs here.

What types of tasks are included in the Priority Support Tickets?

Our support tickets cover anything that takes 30 minutes or less to resolve and that can generally be handled within the admin panel of your WordPress site, or a technical fix.

For example: Adding or editing content like blog posts, WooCommerce products, pages, etc., editing menus and widgets, installing and activating plugins, and much more.

Please include as much information as possible and follow these best practices:

  • The subject of the email should include a simple outline that captures the essence of your request.
    Examples:
    – Fix font on plans page
    – Gallery posts
  • One task per submission
  • Include as much information as possible: screenshots, detailed description, error numbers, videos, etc. Whatever you’ve got, we’ll take it!
  • If you are sending in copy that you would like posted/updated, please be sure to include it as a word document that our experts can copy and paste.
  • Remember to include any files that you would like uploaded.
Do you install any plugins on our website?

Yes, we install our Alpere Digital Maintenance plugin on each site.

This plugin allows our team to configure backups, security and monitoring within your website. 

What if I have an emergency? Do you provide emergency support?

Our team works hard to ensure we handle any urgent tasks (such as malware removal) however, we are not an emergency support service. Requests are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

How does billing work?

If you choose to sign up to one of our monthly care plans, your first payment will be due the day you sign up. From there, you will be billed every month on the day that you signed up.

If you choose to sign up to one of our annual care plans, you will make a one-time payment for that entire year. From there, you will billed every year on the same day that you signed up (and will receive a sneaky discount).

How do I cancel my Care Plan Subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us via one of the following methods:

Email

Emailing us at support@alperedigital.com and include the following information:

  • The website URL for the website you no longer want to keep on a Care Plan.
  • The name of the Care Plan you would like to cancel (eg. Basic Care Plan, Premium Care Plan, etc.).
  • A brief description outlining why you would like to cancel or if there are any concerns you have with the cancellation.
  • Setting the email description to “Care Plan Cancellation” will help us prioritise your request.

Technical Support Form

You can contact us via the technical support form here where you should be sure to fill the form out as follows:

  • Select the “Cancel a Care Plan” option from the “Type of Support” dropdown.
  • Enter the website URL in the “Website URL” field for the website you no longer want to keep on a Care Plan.
  • Leave a brief description outlining why you would like to cancel or if there are any concerns you have with the cancellation.

You will receive an email confirmation once your Care Plan subscription has been canceled.

Please note: To avoid additional fees, we strongly recommend canceling with a minimum of a week remaining prior to your next payment cycle starting.

What types of tasks are NOT included in the Priority Support Tickets?

Here are some requests that the Support Tickets do not include:

  • Graphic design changes (Things like creating graphics or editing images beyond simple resizing/cropping)
  • SEO and Analytics strategy, review, or consulting
  • Writing or providing copy for posts, pages, products, etc. (Including Cookie Permissions and Privacy Policies)
  • Build-outs and plugin/theme development, including the build-out of new major functionality on an existing site (i.e. setting up an online store, rebuilding existing content through a different page builder, or custom-coding a new plugin to provide new functionality)
  • Host-related optimization
  • Interacting with third-party vendors, including the host, email provider, a plugin/theme’s support team, etc.
  • Purchasing plugins, license keys, or extensions

How do you handle WordPress core updates?

WordPress releases core updates in various stages and we assess what needs to be updated and when.

If it is a major update, we will wait up to 10-14 days until the WordPress development team has worked out all the bugs to help ensure it won’t have a negative impact on your website. 

What strategies are added to keep my website safe?

We provide daily security scans and if malware is detected, our team will reach out to you to advise what your next steps should be. If you’re on our Premium Care Plan – we will handle the Malware Removal for you and give you an update asap!

The WordPress core and plugin updates also protect your website by keeping your software on the latest version. Your website is constantly being monitored with WordPress security alerts and if there is a vulnerable plugin on your website, it will be updated as soon as the patch is available. Does your team work directly with my hosting provider?

Our team does not communicate with hosting providers. If there is an issue with the hosting provider, we will reach out to you and let you know if there is something needed from the host in order for us to be able to deliver our service.

You can cancel within 30days of signing up to any one of our Care Plans if you believe this service is not for you.

What are your operating hours and turnaround time?

Our content edits team is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days and week, 365 days a year. We aim to complete all tasks within 8 hours.

Our maintenance service runs during business hours, Monday-Friday.

Please note: we are not an emergency support service. If your website crashes outside of our maintenance hours, it is likely due to something outside of our control, for example, an issue with the hosting service. That being said, if your website is still down once our maintenance service starts up for the day we will catch that and go in to take a look and let you know what next steps to take.
